I have always been one to soak up crazy trivia facts. On any given day I might share some of that knowledge with whoever happens to be around. It could be my kids, it could be my husband, it could be the lady next to me in line at the grocery store! I love to collect facts and it seems that several of my children do too. We have many books on the subject of amazing facts and trivia. In a way it’s homeschooling at it’s best. Learning without realizing it. We read and learn the facts because they are so amazing and unusual. It’s fun to know weird stuff! Maybe one day all of these crazy facts might land me or one of my kids on Jeopardy! Wouldn’t that be fun?

So here is some science trivia you may or may not have known. These are taken from the book Science; 150 Facts You Won’t Believe! By Hugh Westrup .
