Last week I received an email from a friend who was concerned about the school year coming to an end and that she felt that her children were behind in their schoolwork. I tried to remind her that one of the wonderful things about homeschooling is that we are able to determine what we think our kids truly need to know and we are not set to the traditional school timeline. We can school throughout the summer, we can school on the weekends, we can even school while not using books! Still, she was sad that they didn’t accomplish as much as she had hoped. I know that feeling as well since I have felt it in the past.

“What ways have you found to “cheer up” when you are feeling stressed out or down?”
One word. Chocolate.
That’s a great list and it sounds like a cool book too. I’m going to agree with the above comment: CHOCOLATE!
