Drive Thru History: Fun & Educational! Really!

One of our favorite educational resources seems more fun than it does educational, but honestly it’s both.

ColdWater Media’s Drive Thru History series brings history alive.

Host Dave Stott’s crazy antics make learning history interesting and inspiring. Dave drives around historical venues in his vehicles and presents history where it really took place.

This is one part of school that we wait to do until Dad gets home from work because the whole family enjoys it.

The series are all available on dvd, but wait!…if you have cable and receive TBN, check to see if they show it in your area because then you could record the episodes and watch them FOR FREE!!

We LOVE this series and are amazed at how much history gets packed into one episode (about 30 minutes each).

With ancient history and American history, you could likely supplement most any history curriculum you plan to use as a core with these.

Here is a trailer for the first episode in the American History Series. For more information on the series check out Drive Thru History’s website.
