If you’ve ever taken chemistry even at a basic level or if you have upper level elementary to high school age children you’ve used one of these (although certainly it is used in more applications than just chemistry!)

The invention of the table is credited to Russian chemist Dmitri Mendeleev, and while it has been refined and added to over the years, the idea to “table” the recurring trends of properties in elements can be attributed to him.
In the 21st Century though we’re all about technology, and The University of Nottingham has made a Periodic Table of Videos.
That’s right a short video on all 118 elements.
