We’ve had lots of great feedback for our games for encouraging writing post – so much so that I was offered the chance to review a game – and give a copy away to one of you wonderful homeschooling families! Please visit our new review blog, Just a Little Something, to enter this contest and read the review.
Please note: This post was moved to our new giveaway/review blog close to the time that it was due to be closed for more entries. Because of this, most of the comments entering are still here at The Homeschool Classroom on this post.

What a wonderful game – add me to the giveaway list! We've been homeschooling 5 years, and you should do a review of Snorta – it's a lot of fun!

Sounds like a very cool game! I think it might even work for my opposed-to-boardgames girl!
We're starting our 7th year of homeschooling next week and I still feel like a rookie. I'd love to read anything about planning & organization as well as science…I'm not looking forward to science this year…

I am really excited about that game! I find grammar such a painful subject for my kids that this might be just what we needed!
One game that we love is Wildcraft, by Learning herbs; http://www.learningherbs.com/wildcraft.html It is Gorgeous! My boys have learned so much about plants and their uses. They have shown it to anybody who even talks about flowers. It is a bit pricey, but if you sign up for the newsletter, you will be notified if it comes on special.
Thanks and I hope that helps!

Awesome! Thank you for the giveaway. =)
We're beginning our 4th year of homeschooling. WOW!!! Fourth year! My goodness! I had to count twice to make sure. I still feel like a beginner. =D
Games my high schooler enjoys: apples to apples, video games. *sigh*. =D
Games my preschooler enjoys: simple card games, memory, matching games, sorry, battleship, candyland…pretty much anything where he interacts with his parents. =D
A topic I'd love for you to cover is something along the lines of "relax and enjoy the ride, you're doing better than you know and you're not ruining your children's lives." =D
Another topic I'd be very much interested in is the dreaded socialization one, but in a positive way. I'm homeschooling just the preschooler at the moment, and I know he gets lonely from time to time. He definitely needs more interaction with children his age – some ideas on that would be very useful. =)
Thank you so much.

Just started year #2.
I would love to hear what other families do about encouraging students to manage their time efficiently. It's tougher when there's no bells dictating a schedule, but a very valuable skill I want my kids to master.

We have been homeschooling for three years now. My soon to be 7 year old would love this game. She too is not yet old enough for scrabble or boggle but loves to put sentences together. I would love to see more science themes. We love science. contact at http://www.tundrahome.blogspot.com

This looks very nice. We'd love to try it. We are on our 2nd year homeschooling, and are excited about a new start. We love the game Wildcraft from Herb Mentor. It is easy for the kids to comprehend the inter workings of the game, and they get so excited learning more about how God has provided so much for us in His creation. My four year old drags it out at least once a week to see the pictures of herbs and match them with what they can be used for. It is a great science activity.

How cool!
This is our 2nd year homeschooling.
I have a son who is very dependent on me being right next to him while he does his work, even though he knows the work. How can I foster independence and self confidence in him?

What a great game! I would love this for my son who has such difficulty with grammar. It would make practicing it fun. I'd love some other tips on ways to make grammar fun! Some good resources of games, websites, books. I'm looking for as many fun ways as possible to learn and practice Lang. Arts with him.
We have 3 kids and have been homeschooling for 8 years now.
