We just made the decision and it seems like it's a good time of year to do so... Loved the post. I like to be organized, so it's nice to have step by step directions on how to get going. Right now I'm reading information on what my kids should be learning over the next year, and comparing that with what they already know. I've decided what philosophy I'm going to try out and I'm looking at different subjects that I think will work for our first few units. We're going to be moving this summer (from GA to WA) so I don't want to buy too much before the move, but I'm eager and excited! Next year will be my first year homeschooling (K and 2nd). Loved the post. I like to be organized, so it’s nice to have step by step directions on how to get going. Just today I was looking over my son's completed work notebook and it brought so much joy knowing myself and my husband were 100% involved in all of it! We have all learned so much together and we are anxious to plan our next year too! I have been writing and organizing ideas and taking notes all year of curriculums I am interested in and what we may want to venture into. Thank you for a great site!
