Kool Aid Play Dough

If you thought it was tough to keep the kids from eating the play dough before, it doesn’t get any easier when the dough smells like grape, cherry or orange kool aid!  But what a great way to teach colors and make homemade (& frugal!) play dough!

Our Little Village
– Simple.Messy.Fun!

Create an outdoor mini-village with your children, and enjoy the hours of play it could provide as the summer goes along.

Dandelion Study
– Delightful Learning

Have a yard full of these yellow edibles?  Don’t just study them, eat them too!

Hamburger & Ant Cupcakes
– Raising Olives

The cutest picnic-perfect cupcakes ever, and easy even for little ones to help create!

Prayer Flags
– Future Craft Collective

Teach your children the power of prayer with this craft, and then hang it up as a prayerful reminder all summer long!

“But”: The Bee Sting Word – Heart-to-Heart with Diane
Are your compliments to your children often followed by a suggestion or correction?  Take the challenge to keep your compliments free from correction this summer!

Science Sunday: Worm Jar
– Homeschool Creations

Have a garden?  Make compost at home?  Whether you do or you don’t, this easy and small scale science project will give you a close up look at how earthworms create compost and help gardens.  Cool!
