I made a workbox weekly grid after I saw the link above and I love it. My daughter really likes being able to see what comes next in the day.

I’m just starting to homeschool this fall – my oldest is 4 and I’m planning to do pre-K and kindergarten with her at home, then make another decision in 2 years about public schools or not. So I’m new to all of this. And I gotta ask, because I keep seeing it on various blogs –

What on earth is a lapbook? Because if it’s just a book you hold on your lap to read, EVERY book is a lapbook at my house. This term has me seriously confused.

Thanks!

If you follow the link in the post to our section on lapbooking, I think it will be a lot more clear. It is a project that often reinforces unit studies.
