Do you have a child that loves has a passion for art? Every time you turn around is there another picture on the wall (in pastel)? Do notebooks filled with doodles sit all around your house?
My son Moses absolutely loves art. He lives it, he breathes it, he almost can’t live without it. The doors to the craft cupboard can usually be found open with art supplies strewn all about the dining room table, the floor, and half the living room. He is not a messy kid, he just gets lost in his work. For him, art is work. He is the creator.
In order to meet the art needs of Moses and my other children this year, I went searching for resources on-line. What follows are some of my favorite art resources from around the web.
If your child needs some inspiration or a creative push, there are many wonderful little projects complete with instructions and pictures to be found at this blog.

We have a similar situation here, with nothing that inspires creativity being held sacred. My daughter made a lovely toilet roll doll the other day, conveniently left for us to admire, but also getting sodden, near the bathroom sink.
Apart from the blogs you’ve already mentioned, I enjoy checking out Crafty Crow for ideas, That Artist Woman and Creative Jewish Mum.

We do Art a couple times a week in our Homeschool day… Cause if we didn’t my kids would hurt me. They love to draw, paint, create, and be imaginative. The problem I have is coming up with a curriculum per say… Right now we are just doing a bit of this, and that. We are signed up for some Art classes at a studio once a month, for 4 months… where they will do pottery. But I’m frugal, and it isn’t always in our budget for classes… any suggestions?
