Free Sewing Machine 911 Online Class

Hand sewing and machine sewing are both amazing skills to work on with your children!  In fact, I’ve shared all about why I think sewing skills are vital skills for children to learn.  I’m not a master seamstress, mind you.  I just feel that these are some basic skills that will help them over and over throughout their lives.

Now, I have to admit that one thing that really intimidates me is my sewing machine.  I bought a lovely machine (after I had one that I just couldn’t fix), but I still don’t use it as often as I should.

Of course, if I had had the Sewing Machine 911 class, I might not have needed that new sewing machine after all!

Here is more about the Sewing Machine 911 class (information from Craftsy):

In my free online Craftsy class, Sewing Machine 911, I teach all about the typical ills most machines suffer from, and how to easily remedy those pesky problems. Gain confidence in troubleshooting your own machine issues with my tips and tricks. In this class, I discuss both vintage and modern machines, new and used. All of these machines can sew, and they can sew well when the user understands them correctly. Work with me and get to know the ins and outs of your sewing machine, including the basic components of each machine, spotting symptoms, knowing when to take your machine to a professional, and much more!

This free online class could be a great opportunity to help your older children learn more about sewing machine basics, maintenance, and trouble shooting.

This post contains affiliate links.  They don’t cost you anything extra, of course, since the online Sewing Machine 911 class is free to you. However, affiliate links help to support this site.  So, thank you very much!

  1. This is great! I just bought a new sewing machine last week. It’s still in the box. I haven’t had a chance to set it up yet. I was hoping to take lessons at our local Joann Fabrics, but I will check this out first.
