I’m working on putting ideas together for my littlest homeschooler (my tiny tot) while I homeschool my big kid. Between my own searching and the question of the week here at The Homeschool Classroom – What to do with infants and toddlers while homeschooling? , I decided to devote this week’s link list to our littlest homeschoolers. Some of these I’ve posted before, some are new (to me at least) but I hope they all help you entertain and provide lots of fun and learning for your tot.
I can’t just link to one blog post here, the whole blog is fantastic. Great ideas for hands on learning experiences that are fun and creative.
Letter of the Week – Confessions of a Homeschooler
You can buy the curriculum, which I recommend because you get everything in a few organized downloads or you can get it for free on her blog. I love how versatile this curriculum is,we can use it year after year and it will grow with us as my tiny tot’s skills grow.
Tot School – 1+1+1 = 1
Every Sunday Carisa host a meme for tot school where all sorts of mommy bloggers link up what they are doing with their tots. I get a ton of great ideas from these mommies.
ABC and 123 is a blog dedicated to early learning activities and ideas. So many great ideas here.
Thematic Units – Bird On The Street
Bird on the street has some great thematic units that she has created to do with her special needs tot. She also have a 5 part posts on how she creates her units step by step.
Preschool Activities - Shirley’s Preschool Activities
Easy fun preschool activities for busy moms and tots!
Another great blog dedicated to learning and fun activities for our littlest homeschoolers
stART – A Mommy’s Adventures
stART = story + art. Every week, A Mommy’s Adventures host this weekly meme. Read your tot a story and do an art project. It’s simple and fun!
Worboxes for Toddlers? – Spell Out Loud
Yep it can be done, and tots love workboxes too. Great list of ideas for workboxes for your tot.
I hope this great list of links helps you find some fun, creative, learning activities for your tot. If you have a favorite tot school resource that I haven’t listed above, please share, we would love to know about it.
Cara can be found writing about her tot and her big kid over at Peanuts Are Evil and about her homeschool group at Eastbank Homeschoolers.

Thanks for including our sites on your list, there’s a few that are new to me, I need to check out!
