Writers Featured:

We’re excited to not only feature many of the writers at The Homeschool Classroom, but also some of our wonderful homeschooling friends!  In Homeschooling by the Numbers, you’ll find pieces written by:

Amy of Raising Arrows is the homeschooling mother of 6 living children and one precious little girl named Emily being held in the Lord’s arms. Her days are filled with giggly girls, rambunctious boys and sticky baby kisses; At night, she writes about it all.  It is her deepest desire that out of the overflow of her heart, her mouth should speak…and her fingers type.

Nicole’s personal blog is Tired, Need Sleep where she writes about mothering and teaching a preschooler.  She enjoys creating and sharing printable activities and coming up with fun art projects for children.

For the 2011-2012 school year, Samantha will be homeschooling her 9th grade daughter, and her 7th and 5th grade sons. When she’s not busy with homeschooling or being a homemaker, you can find Samantha at a pool as all three of her children are competitive swimmers.  Samantha blogs about homeschooling and family life at To Be Busy At Home.

Jimmie blogs about notebooking at The Notebooking Fairy where you will find free printables and how-tos with a pinch of pixie dust. You can also find her blogging about homeschooling in general at Jimmie’s Collage.

Jamie is a wife, homemaker, and homeschooling mama in a blended family that includes three kids: one by birth, one by marriage, and one through adoption. Her thoughts are always more coherent with a steaming cup of tea in hand, and she knows she can accomplish nothing worthwhile apart from the treasure of Christ within (2 Corinthians 4:7). She writes at See Jamie Blog, and she tweets, too!

Roan and her husband have been homeschooling their five children for 10 years. Roan writes regularly about homeschooling, homemaking, running, and other exercise at her personal blog, Joyful Always.

Michelle is a wife, mother of two, writer, and Cajun who prefers everything (including homeschooling) extra spicy.  After a wild ride of a first year homeschooling her second grader, Michelle is finding their rhythm and sprinkling some Waldorf, Charlotte Mason, Montessori, and unschooling into their learning.  She writes about her journey to add a little lagniappe (a little something extra) to their days at Lagniappe Academy.

Cheryl loves the Lord and prays He will be glorified in her imperfection.  She is the founder of the highly anticiapated 2:1 Conference.  Cheryl blogs regularly at Somewhat Crunchy or you can find her on twitter at @SomewhatCrunchy and @2_to_1.

Tonya Prater has been married to the man of her dreams for the past 19 years. Together they have homeschooled their three children who are now teenagers and are nearing the end of their homeschooling journey. You can read about the many fun, family friendly, educational travel adventures that they have experienced at The Traveling Praters.

Angie writes at Many Little Blessings about all of the adventures that happen in her family’s life in between loads of laundry.  She is also the founder of The Homeschool Classroom and Catholic Mothers Online.  Angie finds time for artistic endeavors at Tiny Owl {Designs} and Just a Tiny Owl.

When she’s not traveling with her children, you can find Dianna training for her second half marathon over at The Kennedy Adventures. There, she shares her journey through homeschooling and living her Catholic faith. She’s also a minor Twitter addict.
